Storekeeper

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely inventory records.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials and supplies.
  • Issue materials and supplies to production or other departments as needed.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain the store layout for optimal efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely restocking of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and storage regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a storekeeper or inventory management role.
  • Skills:
    • Basic spoken English and Hindi.
    • Strong logical and analytical abilities.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
