Key Accountabilities:

Organizational Culture & Compliance:

  • Adhere to division policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in meetings, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality per the organization’s standard code of conduct.
  • Complete the personal performance evaluation cycle in a timely manner.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring smooth implementation of operational activities.
  • Convey regulatory requirements clearly and promptly within the division.

Educational Qualifications:

Essential:

  • BSc degree in management, administration, procurement, or a related field; preferred relevant postgraduate degree (MSc).

Experience:

Essential:

  • 0-5 years of internship or postgraduate experience in procurement and supply chain in a logistics provider environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective approaches to process improvement, value analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Experience in logistics industry.

  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • High proficiency in spreadsheet design, development, and analysis.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong team player, proactive in developing self and requesting feedback.
  • Strong communication skills (presentation, written, and spoken English).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and finance (ERP) systems.
  • Understanding of international, regional, and local supply markets and working practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Preferred:

  • Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic.
