IT Support Engineer

Noorka Logistics is a dynamic and rapidly growing logistics company based in Dubai, dedicated to providing innovative solutions for our clients. We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team and contribute to the seamless operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. User Support:
    • Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
    • Respond promptly to service requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to daily operations.
  2. Troubleshooting:
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, both remotely and on-site, ensuring quick and effective problem resolution.
    • Escalate complex problems to appropriate teams and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  3. Hardware and Software Maintenance:
    • Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems, ensuring optimal performance.
    • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components as needed.
  4. Network Support:
    • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting the company’s local area network (LAN) and connectivity issues.
    • Collaborate with the IT team to implement network security measures.
  5. Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of IT support requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory.
    • Contribute to the development and updating of IT documentation and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) will be a plus
